John earned his Bachelor of Architecture at Melbourne's Deakin University and a Master of Science in Architecture from Howard University in Washington D.C.
John joined ASC Architects in 1989 and has since worked on multiple large-scale projects both in New Zealand and overseas.
John is an award-winning architect who balances the intuitive with practical expertise to deliver informed and creative solutions that are rigorous and concept-driven.
John brings a wealth of experience to his role as a director responsible for a diverse portfolio that includes more complex residential, public, commercial, industrial projects with an intent focus on the education sector including the multi-award-winning Botany Downs Secondary College.
With his experience and interest in the education sector, John demonstrates a firm commitment to the sector’s ongoing development, defining the education ecosystems of tomorrow.
Demonstrating a continuous dedication to knowledge, research and scholarship, John has long been involved in teaching and continues to guest lecture at the tertiary level.
