ASC Architects worked closely with McDonalds to create the McCafe image now being adapted to restaurants nationwide. The McCafe experience complements the existing restaurants – generally as a distinctly separate dining area within the McDonalds restaurant.

The decor was designed with a sharp contemporary edge, consisting of warm surrounds through the use of natural woods, armchairs, lighting and relaxing music.
The McCafe designs incorporate an easy indoor outdoor flow with the use of bi-folding doors, reflecting New Zealanders fondness for openness and light.
