Te Kura Rau Iti
Te Kura Rau Iti delivers vital educational infrastructure to the fast-growing suburb of Flat Bush, Auckland, responding to significant population growth with a masterplanned campus designed to accommodate 700 students in Stage 1 and ultimately 1,178 students at full build-out.
The project establishes a strong civic presence and provides shared amenities - including an administration block with a multi-purpose hall, library, and reception. It also includes a new 3 level teaching block with 30 new teaching spaces which is shared with a sports field, hardcourts, playgrounds and outdoor learning environments - that extend beyond school use and strengthen community cohesion. Learning spaces are designed to support a range of pedagogical models, including learning spaces, creative makers spaces and Māori medium education, ensuring inclusivity and educational equity.
